Leading towards capacities and inspiration

Stebo signed up for an ESF call to follow an evolution pathway within a learning network, in which innovative approaches and tools for competency management have been developed and tested.
It was decided not to start from a classical competency management that focuses on gaps but rather on developing people’s strengths. This methodology is called ‘Appreciative Inquiry’ (AI).
The philosophy of AI departs from the strength thinking and reasoning along capacities and inspiration of staff with regard to organization development.

Fitness Coach Assessment, group fitness coach and personal trainer

This project has designed a test that consists of three dvd’s containing a full scenario for the test of the experience certificate for fitness coach, group fitness coach and personal trainer. The test consists of an observation in a job-relevant context, a criterion-oriented interview, an interactive video and a knowledge test. With this tool the assessors try to assess the capabilties, the attitudes as well as the knowledge of the candidate.
